The news: Successful early adopters of AI are seeing strong outcomes, per IDC’s 2025 Enterprise Horizons 2025 report, though deploying AI prematurely can strain network resources.

  • Enterprises worldwide that are capable of adopting AI are reaping the benefits: 23% are using AI companywide, and 88% said it’s meeting or exceeding expectations.
  • However, 94% of companies said network limitations are hampering their ability to run AI projects.
