The news: Pinterest has launched generative AI tools for advertisers as part of its Performance+ suite, TechCrunch reports. The announcement was made at its Pinterest Presents advertiser event.

Advertisers can now use AI to transform flat or plain product backgrounds into lifestyle imagery, enhancing their Pinterest Product Pins (ads) to attract more clicks.
The genAI feature allows the creation of more engaging product visuals with simple prompts and enables advertisers to produce campaigns with 50% less input, a streamlined way to drive improved results.
